The Bognor Prom 10K road race first took place in May 1994. It was set up and organised by Bognor Hotham Rotary Club and has enabled runners to raise thousands of pounds for good causes. Since 2018 the Bognor Prom 10K road race and Junior Fun Run has been organised by the Bognor Regis Tone Zone Runners in conjunction with the Hotham Rotary Club.​
